  7. HYPERSIGHT ANNOUNCES THE AVAILABILITY SIGHT-C-ING 2.0.  Introductory

  10. RED BANK, NJ, March 13, 1995 --- Version 2.0 substantially enhances
  11. SIGHT-C-ING's Source Browser and adds the ability to generate high
  12. quality documents from commented source code. SIGHT-C-ING's advanced
  13. browsing features, allow developers to effortlessly identify reusable
  14. components, determine how classes behave, view object methods by
  15. type, browse class documentation, and navigate through code.
  16. Its document generation features eliminate the need to redundantly
  17. write design documents, commented code, and class descriptive
  18. documents. The benefits of document generation are higher quality
  19. design reviews, better commented code, and quality descriptions of
  20. reusable classes. Developers can also define macros that can be
  21. included in their commented code. This allows developers to produce
  22. bullet lists, indents and other formatting affects in their
  23. documentation.

  25. Until April 28, 1995, SIGHT-C-ING 2.0 is available for $495 to
  26. commercial customers. This is a $200 savings off SIGHT-C-ING's list
  27. price of $695. SIGHT-C-ING 2.0 is also available to education
  28. customers for $99, a savings of $50 off its normal education price of
  29. $149. Release 1.0 owners can upgrade to SIGHT-C-ING 2.0 for the cost
  30. of shipping.

  39. 1.       Available as a quad-fat binary, supporting HP-PA RISC,
  40.          Intel and NeXT hardware.
  41. 2.       Compatible with NEXTSTEP 3.3.

  43. Document Generation Features
  44. 3.       Generate documentation from commented source code.
  45.          SIGHT-C-ING automatically selects the comment directly after
  46.          the method name, or directly before the method name,
  47.          depending on which one is present.
  48. 4.       Browse class documentation.
  49. 5.       Generate documentation from the command line. This allows
  50.          document generation to be triggered from a makefile.
  51. 6.       Specify method sections, which will appear as titled method
  52.          groups within class documentation and within the source
  53.          browser.
  54. 7.       Define document formatting macros, such as bullet lists and
  55.          indents.
  56. 8.       Make various modifications to the template used to generate
  57.          class documentation.

  59. Source Browser Features
  60. 9.       View methods by typed groups, as described under the
  61.          document generation feature list.
  62. 10.      Change your code and SIGHT-C-ING automatically parses class
  63.          source code using a technique that does not require the
  64.          inclusion of  dependent files. This makes parsing much more
  65.          trouble free. Other parsing problems have also been
  66.          corrected.
  67. 11.      More color support.
  68. 12.      Include source code libraries in which header files are
  69.          located in a different directory than the source files (e.g.
  70.          the MiscKit).
  71. 13.      Specify the default editor using the preference panel. This
  72.          allows SIGHT-C-ING to interact with any editor that supports
  73.          the "openFile:onHost:atTrueLine:" protocol, such as the Emacs
  74.          NEXTSTEP application.
  75. 14.      Includes many enhancements and user interface improvements.

  84.          you to cross reference classes and projects. It also allows
  85.          you to easily follow message chains.
  86. 3.       Easily view the class hierarchy of any project. Double-click
  87.          on a project to view the classes of a project and all its
  88.          subprojects.
  89. 4.       Graphically view the entire project tree at once. This allows
  90.          you to quickly jump to different projects, or pop up the
  91.          project's Project Builder(tm) panel.
  92. 5.       Supports RTF format.
  93. 6.       Identify all classes that respond to a specific method.
  94. 7.       Instantly find the definition of code elements such as
  95.          typedefs, defines, globals and methods.
